01 · The work
The story behind the image.
I didn’t create this piece because I couldn’t dream, or because my dreams were cut short. I created it because I realized I had been dreaming all my life
There are moments when life places us in situations so heavy that we forget what dreaming even feels like. Yet somehow, the dreams remain. I’ve carried many dreams, some I never thought I would live long enough to see, let alone experience.
For a long time, I believed dreams were meant to remain dreams. I thought they were separate from goals and distant from reality. But along a path I chose, or perhaps one I was gently bent toward, I began to understand what those words truly meant.
I started living pieces of those dreams. I learned what it feels like to believe and, more importantly, what it means to have others believe in you, to have people walk beside you and to move forward together
That is when I realized something important: dreams are rarely singular. What we call “my dream” or “your dream” often becomes our dream, a collective effort in which people meet one another halfway, share belief, share vision, and give life to something bigger than any one person.
Everything we have achieved, every dream we have touched, and every life we have impacted was never done alone. Somewhere in the world, people saw the vision, the idea, the person, or the possibility and chose to nurture it.
02 · Source
What moved the work.
Because i dream everyday, my inspiration was dreaming.
03 · Making
How it came into being.
I built the entire scene in Blender, the environment, the water, the character, the fish, and every surrounding element. Once the 3D foundation was complete, I moved the work into Procreate, where I created the signature strands flowing from the character’s head and added smaller hand-drawn details. I then brought the artwork into Photoshop for texturing before completing the piece in Lightroom with its final colour grading.
